This is where I get to say "Life happened!" or perhaps I should elaborate and say "Corporate life happened!"
For those that have been in Corporate or still are, you get what I am saying, working in Corporate can only be defined as "the good, the bad and the ugly"
I had found a way to balance the "corporate by day and artist by night" work lifestyle for many years, but then I changed positions, was promoted(yay for status and ego praise but a big nay for work/life balance), and also changed industries.
I had no energy, passion or will to give to what actually truly filled my soul...being creative, studying more and helping people become better versions of themselves.
Life has an unexplainable way of nudging you and placing you on a path you didn't realise you needed to be on, until you are on it.
What a gift! The opportunity to re-evaluate and actually acknowledge just how my life had become unbalanced, time sacrificed to corporate that was meant for my Photography, growing my Life Coaching practice and of course to ME.
So here I am back in 2020, fully immersed in the re-building of my Photography brand, continue to enrich my knowledge and being there for my new Life Coaching clients who are on a personal development journey.
One of my favourite quotes is from Maya Angelou " Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better"
