It’s been 15 years since a studio photoshoot with an amazing photographer inspired me to explore photography.

The famous quote by the legendary Maya Angelou says it all, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

It’s so true, the way she made me feel when my nerves could be seen through my quivering smile and how she politely steered my awkward poses into more complimentary stances. It’s the feeling of that day that I will always remember. So unbeknown to the random photographer that I only ever met that day, she ignited my passion for photography, which still runs deep in my veins.

My photography is not about freezing a moment in time, it’s about capturing all the feelings and emotions that will take you right back, leaving you with a cheerful smile and a joyful heart.
