Sometimes life takes people on a journey that is so far from their Motherland that it takes special moments of celebration to bring family and friends together again.
Sipho & Teboho hearts live and love South Africa but it is New York that they call home now. With 3 boys keeping them busy and the rest of their family here in South Africa, Sipho & Teboho declared their long standing love to each other at the Walter Sisulu Bottanical Gardens on the 16 November 2013.
I must admit that when the vows were read and emotions were running high, I too had to fight back a tear in order to get the moment at hand.
Often feelings are captured not knowing the history of the couple, so I have decided to introduce Sipho & Teboho with a little paragraph of the information they shared with me.
Sipho & Tebogo met in Soshenguve way back in 2001. With Sipho’s caring nature and high heart and Teboho’s down to earth yet strong character and beautiful smile, it was just a few months into dating that love was in the air.
The key to their relationship standing strong is the love and support they offer each and an open line of communication.
Now I am no relationship expert but any couple that hits 7 years and plus and still look at each other with the love and adoration that Sipho & Teboho do, can only mean that spending the rest of their lives together will be showered with blessings.
Sipho & Teboho,
It was an absolute pleasure capturing your special day, to see a partnership so strong and solid, is few and far between, therefore I pray that God continues to bless you as He has thus far.
I hope that when you receive the photos next week sealed with ” Hugs and Love” all the way from South Africa, that you feel the happiness you felt on the 16th.
I would not be able to tell the story entirely if it wasn’t for you getting the moments that I couldn’t.
You are amazing and I am lucky to have you work along side me.
THANK YOU, for working with me.
Some of Tim’s photos can be seen in the post.
Some kind words from Sipho & Teboho
“We liked the work of Anabela Lourenco Photography because of the manner in which they captures photos and little details of the wedding such as the preparatory stages, bride’s dress, etc. This makes one’s wedding moments unique, memorable and historical. The photographers were extremely professional, friendly and ease to work with. They also demonstrated a spirit of “Batho Pele” (customer first) in the manner they conducted their work. We really appreciate their work and were honoured to have them capture our special and important day. ”
