Garth & I have known each other for 9 years and when I tell you that he is like the brother I never had, I am not lying. Garth has been there for me through my break ups, happiest times and partying years, my safety net…
Garth emigrated to Australia in 2009, and what a sad day that was for me. I cried when I had to hug him good bye not knowing when I would see him again….
Since then, Garth has settled down well in Melbourne, proposed to Mary-Kate, whom I might just add, packed up & said good bye to her big circle of friends here in South Africa to be with the love of her life (brave girl I tell you)
In May Garth & Mary-Kate came to visit family and friends and well, there was certainly no chance of them going back to Australia without me capturing their love in my studio.
It meant so much to me that Garth & Mary-Kate accepted my gift of the engagement shoot, because I got to experience 2 amazing moments… doing what I love and seeing how happy Garth is. Thats all any friend could ask for , for their best friend.
Garth, thank you for your one of a kind friendship, for all the good times we had together and for all the great skyping sessions that are coming up… love you lots my friend.
Mary-Kate, spending some time with you & getting to know you better, where do I begin to say thank you for loving Garth the way you do…looking forward to seeing you both in 2 years(I haven’t forgotten 🙂 )
